Provisional bookings must be made by telephone to ensure that
accommodation is available on the dates required. Any provisional booking will be held for three days pending
receipt of a completed reservation form and the deposit. Reservations are considered as firm and a contract made when the
reservation form and deposit are received and confirmation of the
booking is given to the client. The
confirmation will show the balance due plus the security deposit, (see
below) which is payable not less than eight weeks before departure.
Payment in full for bookings made less than eight weeks before
departure must accompany the reservation form.
In the event of cancellation after the booking has been confirmed the following
cancellation charges are payable:-
More than :
56 days before departure - forfeiture of deposit
56-29 days before departure - 30% of total cost
28-8 days before departure - 80% of total cost
7 days or less before departure - 90% of total cost
On day of departure - 100% of total cost

Cancellation must be in
writing, signed by the person who signed the reservation form and will
be acknowledged.

The owner reserves the right to cancel or make a material
alteration to a holiday;-
(i) for any
reason whatsoever prior to the day on which payment of the
balance of the price become due, or
(ii) for
reasons of force majeure at any time prior to departure.

If the owner cancels or makes any material alteration to the
holiday under
clause 3. she will inform
the client as soon as is reasonably practicable and will offer the
client, in the case of alteration, the choice of accepting the
alteration and, in the case of cancellation the choice of alternative
dates if available, or, in either case a prompt and full refund of all
money paid.

A Security deposit of £100 is required in case of, for example,
damage to the property, the contents, or in the event the property is
not left in a clean and tidy condition.
However, the sum reserved by this clause shall not limit the
clients' liability to the owner. The
owner will account to the clients for the security deposit and refund
the balance due after the end of the rental period.

No linen is provided. Clients are requested to leave the property
clean and tidy on departure.

7 |
The accommodation provided is only for the use of clients shown
on the reservation form and subletting , sharing or assignment is
prohibited. The owner must
be informed in advance of persons in addition to those specified on the
reservation form and on no account must the maximum capacity of the
property as shown in the literature be exceeded.
Failure to do this may result in an additional charge being
levied locally.

Please note that all accommodation must be vacated by 10.00am at
the latest on the day of departure.
Please do not arrive at the property prior to 3.00pm.

9 |
If during the course of the holiday the client has any reason for
complaint or dissatisfaction he/she must contact the owner's
representative immediately so that remedial action may be taken.

10 |
Any complaints after the end of the holiday should be made in
writing within six weeks of the end of the holiday.
|

|
11 |
The owner shall not be liable in respect of any loss or damage
howsoever arising other than as a result of her own negligence.

|
12 |
All baggage and personal possessions remain at all times and in
all circumstances at the client's own risk.

Insurance
All tour operators make
holiday insurance compulsory. I
too ask that ALL holidaymakers staying at Le Bas du Parc have full holiday
insurance (available through Chez Nous and many major insurance
companies).
